Take your Hamburger seriously

February 23, 2022

Everyone likes a good burger, especially one that is juicy, tender and fresh from the grill!

Hungry yet?

Here at Olde Tyme Meats we mix the meat to a perfect ratio 80/20 blend. It is then carefully processed and packaged fresh and put directly into the freezer.

Here is a few tips to get a delicious burger grilled to perfection.

  1. Whether you cook burgers on the grill or in a kitchen skillet, don't press the the patty while cooking! It does not make it cook any faster and pressing it takes out those delicious juices, resulting in a dry burger.
  2. Only flip the burger once. Letting it cook longer one one side, ensures that charred look and lets the flavor set in. typically about 3 to 4 min. per side depending on the thickness.
  3. Grill on a high heat first, making sure they have a good chargrilled marks and to finish them off, turn heat down until fully cooked inside.
